Today I had to go to the bank. It’s part of my weekly duties. I also have to eat. What I’m getting at, is I often go to places that have these things called «Drive Throughs». Avoid them; drive by them. They are not what we think they are put in place for.Let’s start with Banks. I have to go there — because that’s where I sore my money. Not only is the one I belong to a common target robberies, but it has horrible customer service at the drive through window. Inside, I’m satisfied — outside, I cringe. First of all, when I think of a drive through — I think of convenience, speed, and the fact that I am offered the ability to be lazy and it’s accepted. Otherwise — no one would have come up with the idea. However, when I can read an entire edition of Oprah magazine before I actually reach the bank window, something is wrong.I’m too afraid to go in — because I’m convinced that will be the day the bank will be robbed, and no one is getting my make-up. That’s what I go there for. I also have my transactions prepared before I reach the window. I am a courteous banker customer. I don’t like to hold people up — because I don’t like to be held up.What I don’t understand about this particular bank, and many of its other locations operate the same, is that they don’t understand what times of day are the busiest. I would say anywhere after 4 pm, especially on Fridays. They don’t know that. My bank has 1 drive through window, and the same girl who operates the front desk, also operates the drive-up. It doesn’t matter if there are 25 people in the bank and 30 in the drive through. One person. That is not what I call good customer service. They spend a fortune advertising all the special benefits you’ll receive by opening an account with them — but they never tell you how horrible it will be once you do.They have 6 teller windows inside — but never are more than two in operation. Yet, many staff members mill about, like lost cattle, while customers become more angry and more impatient. Maybe that’s why they’re being Category:Home › Other • Pomegranates: A newly discovered superfood • Where did the joke why did the chicken cross the road come from and why is it funny? • Can mothers diagnosed with bipolar disorder make good parents? • Spiritual evolution of human consciousness • Tips for getting a college basketball scholarship • Living with Pseudotumor cerebri (PTC) • Caring for the caregiver • Technologys impact on society
